2: What if I need to be seen immediately?
A: Urgent or Emergent needs should not go through the appointment line. If you have an urgent/emergent need, please call our office and speak to the operator. She will direct you to your physician's medical assistant who will make arrangements to work you in. You may not be seen by your physician that day, but by whichever physician is available. Please call as early in the day as possible to make these arrangements.

NOTE:
If at any time you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go directly to the closest emergency room. Our office is not equipped to handle emergency cases.

3: Why do I get a voice mail recording when I call my nursing assistant?
A: Our staff makes every effort to answer their phones. However, there are times during clinic hours that they are with a patient or on another line. We return all calls by the end of the day or by the following business day. If you are not receiving a response to your messages, please ask to speak to a supervisor.

4: Where do I go to get my lab drawn?
A: This depends on your insurance coverage. Some insurance companies require that you use a specific lab. In those cases, it is better that you follow their requests to ensure that your insurance will pay for the bill.

  • There is a Unilab drawing station located in our office. They are independent from our office but are there for your convenience.

A: Normal lab results are mailed out to our patients.
Abnormal lab results are called by either the MD or MA with instructions or you are requested to come in for a follow up visit. If we are unable to contact you via telephone, we will send you a letter in the mail.
